Yam Lau

Yam Lau was born in Hong Kong and is currently based in Toronto, Canada. He received his Master of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Alberta. His creative work explores new expressions and qualities of space, time and image. His most recent works combine video and computer-generated animation to re-create familiar spaces and activities in varied dimensionalities and perspectives. Also, Lau publishes regularly on art and design and is active in the local art community. Certain aspects of his art practice, such as using his car as an on-going mobile project space, are designed to solicit community participation. Lau has exhibited widely across Canada, United States and Europe. He is a recipient of numerous awards from the arts councils in Canada. Currently Lau is a Professor of painting at York University, Toronto. In addition to his teaching and research, Lau also serves on the board and advisory committee on two public galleries. Michael Yuen

Michael is an Australian artist and curator. His artistic practice centres on interventionist installation traversing many artforms. He works in public and gallery space using sound and light. He has worked with the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in a joint exhibition with the Hayward Gallery, Adelaide Festival of Arts, Australian National University, Australian Network for Art and Technology, SSamzie Space, the JamFactory, received a Ruby Litchfield and AsiaLink award, been the artistic director of Project 3 (2006 Adelaide Festival of Arts) and served on the Inter-Arts board for the Australia Council of the Arts (2006-7). Michael divides his time between Adelaide and Beijing.

Ma Yongfeng

Ma Yongfeng was born in Shanxi, China in 1971 and is a new media artist currently based in Beijing. He has exhibited widely across Europe, the United States and China – most recently in Chinese Video Now at P.S.1, New York, Becoming Landscape at Platform China Contemporary Art Institute, Beijing, and The Cretaceous Period at ArtSway,UK. He was selected for the Production Residency Scheme by ArtSway and the Chinese Art Centre at Manchester from an exceptional shortlist of artists nominated by Chinese curators and professionals in 2007.
Ma came to international attention in 2002 with Swirl, a video depicting six Koi carp being subjected to a 15 minute wash cycle in an upright washing machine. The piece was exhibited at MOCA in Los Angeles and PS1 in New York. Ma has continued to explore the relationship between man and nature in many of his photographic, video and installations. Ma's pieces on exhibit at Yuanfen are continuing another thread of Ma's explorations – this one into the virtual realm of what Ma calls "harmonious non-realism".

1971年马永峰出生于山西，现居北京,作为一名新媒体艺术家活跃在当代艺术领 域，他的作品主要通过录像、摄影、装置和动画等形式探讨现实空间和自然环境重置之后的疏离感和介乎于有序和无序之中的悬置状态。他的作品在欧洲，美国和中国各地广泛展览。最近的展览包括纽约PS1展出的《中国录像艺术》，北京站台中国展出的个展《生成景观》以及英国汉普郡ArtSway艺术中心展出的个展《白垩纪》，2007年获得英国ArtSway艺术中心和曼彻斯特华人艺术中心合作举办的“制作”艺术家驻留项目奖项。
马永峰获得国际艺术界普遍关注的是2002年创作的录像作品《旋涡》，他将6条活金鱼放到洗衣机里面不停转动15分钟（里面有水），这件作品曾在洛杉矶当代艺术中心和纽约PS1展出。马永峰在自己的摄影、录像和装置作品中继续尝试探索自然与人类之间的关系。他在缘分新媒体艺术空间参展的作品表达了他想探索的另外一个主题：虚拟领域里的 "和谐非现实主义"。

Joe Diebes

Joe Diebes graduated from Yale University. With a background in philosophy and literature, Joe then studied at the Julliard School of Music – the bastion of traditional Western classic music training – while simultaneously working with La Monte Young, an iconoclast of traditional western music theory and one of America’s major minimalist composers. Joe Diebes, standing in between and fusing the classical and its antithesis, is a unique voice in the American digital arts field for his exploratory and incisive concepts and for integrating postmodernism with the urban spirit.

Joe Diebes的艺术实践及作品 发轫于哲学和文学研究的Joe Diebes毕业于耶鲁大学和朱利亚音乐学院（该学院以美国经典音乐教育著称于世），亦曾追随美国极简主义音响艺术家﹑反西方传统音乐理论的代表人物La Monte Young。在美国数字艺术领域，自由游弋在经典与前卫音乐之间的Joe Diebes以后现代主义结合大都会精神的探险性和犀利的观念著称。

HUNG Keung

HUNG Keung Artist HUNG Keung graduated from the School of Art and Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, began working in film and video while at the Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London and continued to expand his artistic and spiritual horizons while at the ZKM Center for Art and Design in Karlsruhe, Germany. In a decade of work in digital art, HUNG Keung has made the transition from two-dimensional film to interactive multidimensional space. Heavily influenced by Hong Kong pop culture and design, he uses a farcical and nonsensical cultural palette to reflect the richness that lies within social change and individual private perceptions.

洪强（HUNG Keung） 艺术家洪强（HUNG Keung）早期毕业于香港理工大学，在英国中央聖馬 丁藝術與設計學院开始电影及录像艺术的实践，后在德国卡尔斯鲁厄媒体中心 （ZKM）进一步开拓学术与精神视野。从事数字艺术10余年来，洪强经历了从平 面﹑影像到交互式多维空间的转变。深受香港流行文化与设计的影响，他以调侃﹑ 无厘头的文化趣味和幽默感，反映了社会变迁与个人私密感受之间的丰富性。
